Buyer Beware!! Same Issue as so many of you!!

Bought at Costco too! Did not last more than a couple months. Bottom seal prevents door from fully closing even after re-seating into grooves. Have lost over $1200 worth of meat and frozen items. Do NOT buy this upright freezer! Absolute garbage if you ask me. Hoping Costco will stand behind their product as I intend to return it tomorrow.

Poor Design 1/2 Freezer

Like lots of people writing 1 star reviews I too purchased this freezer from Costco and have have various problems with the freezer. The Bottom Seal keeps coming off and needs to be pushed in every other time the door is open and if not done the door does not seal properly. The top half of freezer is not working and thawed my food i don™€™t have another freezer so I need to keep the food in there. I would not get a replacement freezer from Costco as this is a design issue that would just happen again in the future.

Worst purchase ever

We bought and within 4 weeks had a service call. It took 9 days for tech to come. It was a defective design for the air circulation. Now 4 weeks later freezer is not cooking again. We have lost about 1800$ worth of food between the 2 issues. Tech is scheduled for 5 days out. Frigidaire is not responsible for food and will not replace freezer.

Bought one at Costco and brought it home and it wouldn't work. Returned it and purchased another. The second on lasted 3 months and unthawed everything in the full freezer. DONT BUY THIS UNIT.

Top half is warm and bottom half has ice build up

Bought this freezer in July 2020 and the ran well for the first few weeks. Then the top half became too warm and food melted and stinks. The bottom half has ice build up but food was still frozen. The green light is always blinking now when it should remain solid on. I would not recommend to buy.

Issues with meg switch

Bought this product from Costco in the COVID 19 freezer shortage. Initially very pleased with the product. However, after approximately one month the freezer started malfunctioning. It started to let out three beeps while the green light continued to be solid. It appears it thinks the door is open. At one point the top of the freezer was warmer than what it was supposed to be. Noted some frost around the door, cleared this and closed the door. The door had issues after this periodically suctioning closed. It would start beeping randomly even if we had not opened the freezer for 2 weeks. We did the normal checks; the freezer is leveled properly, there are no products pushing agains the door, it is properly spaced from the wall. After looking a little more noticed the magnetic switch at the bottom of the fridge is faulty and is very weak causing it to loose connection thus thinking the door is open. I tried calling Frigidaire with no success. The phone number provided leads to a calling service that states the call volume is high and that they are unable to answer the call. Not sure how to fix this meg switch problem or how to contact Frigidaire.

Purchased 3 months ago and like everyone else it has stopped cooling the top half. Now I have 20 cubic feet of meat thawing in a brand new freezer. Bought it 4 months ago at Cosco. Freezer worked 90 days then stopped freezing. Tried to adjust temperature but did not work, waited 24 hours, still nothing. Called Frigidaire Jul 20th, got a tech visit Aug 4th. Only. Tech said it was a knowed issue (based on the serial number of my freezer) he even showed me the memo written by Frigidaire. He needed to order a kit that when installed, prevents ice buildup around the fan. So Frigidaire knows that my freezer has a problem and chooses to keep quiet about it and make me waste a lot of time and effort (I had to relocate 20 cup.ft of frozen food)... wow, that is not what I call service.So my advice is do not buy that freezer because you may be the unlucky one that get a freezer from the same batch as mine and even if you call Frigidaire service, they will not tell you about the issue, they will send a tech instead.

Bought this freezer Brand new and less then 2 months after receiving it quit working. Frigidaire wouldn™€™t answer the phone and when I finally got ahold of them 2 days later, they said they would send someone to fix it in 2 weeks. So all of the frozen food we had in it had to be thrown away. Do not buy this freezer.

There is a small basket that is supposed to hold a magnet in place, but is designed upside down (fights gravity) and has the grip strength of that claw game in a supermarket . broken in two months, impossible to get serviced

The freezer stopped cooling at the top. We placed a call for service the week of June 22nd and an appointment was made for June 29th. That service appointment was a no call, no show. Called june 29th to inform Frigidaire of the no show and rescheduled for July 1st. Received a call late June 30th from the scheduled technician stating he didn't service our area. We called Frigidaire the evening of July 2nd and were informed they were "expediting service" and we would receive a call back on July 3rd or 6th. We called mid-day on July 6th, we were informed they would call the closest authorized service center and call us back shortly. After waiting 4 hrs, we once again called frigidaire and low and behold the original "expedited service" request was never completed. Frustrated that we have a 2 month old freezer that doesn't work and most of all that Frigidaire is dragging their feet on honoring their warranty!

Freezer Not Freezing

I also purchased a Frigidaire 20 cu. ft. Frost Free Upright Freezer from Home Deport on March 28, 2020. It was great for a couple of months. I just noticed the green light flashing and when I inspected inside of the freezer, I noticed some of the food was not frozen. My husband lowered the temperature, however this hasn't helped. I need to know if I should contact Home Depot or Frigidaire?

I purchased this freezer Costco Brand, I had to return first one, all of a sudden I went and try get ice in my freezer all meat was not good it didn't even work. Picked up a replacement now the top of freezer area stopped working spoiled food again. Tried a new plug though that was the problem No top foods are freezing. HELP this is awful.

Horrible Product

I purchased this product from Home Depot online on May 1, 2020 and it was delivered on May 8. I was extremely satisfied until June 17, 2020 when it would no longer keep the interior cold. The high temperature alarm has been sounding for the past two days and my food is no longer frozen. I have repeatedly tried the number provided in the manual and onthe website; however, I am disconnected due to high call volumes. I have already lost a significant amount of food and I have ordered a large amount of meat form a local farmer and at this point all I have are shelves to keep the food at room temperature and no way to have the freezer repaired. I would not recommend this product or this company.

We bought our model from Costco when our chest freezer died. We didn't have alot of time to shop around, and this is what costco had. It is AMAZING!!!! Super roomy, shelves are high enough to hide the treats from the kids, but not me!! Bright, clean and easy to set up.

This freezer has lots of features. The door closes so well that it's hard to open. Don't worry about leaving the door ajar. Unfortunately it's very noisy as there's a motor that runs all the time.
