I purchased the 36 inch Gallery cooktop for my kitchen remodel project. I picked the 36 inch model so I would have plenty of room cooking for family gatherings. Thanksgiving was the first ™test™ for the cooktop. It performed great, cooking with multiple large pots & pans and heats up quickly.

I bought this stovetop in January for a complete remodel of our house. We ordered early because of all the backorder issues due to supposedly COVID. Our remodel finished this past week 10/27/2023 I just started using the stove top. One element is off and not in the marked spot which makes it a safety issue. One element is peeling. I was told today that there is only a 14 day cosmetic warranty. I just got to see the stove top because it was kept in the box for safety issues with the General Contractor doing our house. So I either have to deal with this or buy a new stovetop and it will not be Frigidaire because they do not back their product on remodels only newly built homes (well we took our home to the studs and started over because it was cheaper than a new home) but Fridigaire does not consider it newly built.

It is great. The reason I gave a 4 is because it seems hard to clean. It seems like I can not find rid of the streaks and it always looks dirty instead of clean.

Replacing old electric coil cooktop where light had failed so no good way to see that a burner was on. This seems to be much better, the light lets you know that there is still (at least) one burner that is hot, even though the heating elements are off. That is a good thing. It is a good reminder to verify if ALL burners are turned off.

The reason I chose this cooktop was because of the two larger burners on the front of the unit. I don't seem to use smaller burners often, so this setup works better for me. It heats up well, easier to fine tune the temp. We are replacing an older cooktop so having something that would fit different size cutouts was very convenient. I did think the installation instructions were deficient. Our top isn't being 'held in' by anything, just sitting on metal brackets that hold the base unit and class top together. That bugs me a little. We may add brackets. Also, because of the range of cutouts this unit will fit, if your cutout is on the larger side, your cooktop slides around in the cutout. So we have to resolve that as well.

The first one came broken so their packaging isn't the best. Cost was refunded without problem and second one came perfect. Looks great and works just as well. It is different seeing the burners go off and on but it does seem to moderate the temps better than our old one. So far, very happy.

I am very pleased with my Frigidare Electric cooktop! I like the sizes of each burner, & the various temps on each as well. My only complaint is that it would be nice to have some indication which burner is hot after turning the stove off.

I loved the idea of giving up my gas stove after reading about possible toxins being emitted from it. But after about 10 days of waiting for my food to heat up for 25+ minutes, I had my husband rip this thing out and put the old one back. Sorry, there's just nothing that compares to gas. It is a beautiful unit though and I was sorry to see it go for that reason. For those complaining about stains, spots scratched etc, I would say you need to use the proper cleaner and tools EVERY DAY on it or you will have a sloppy looking cooktop. If you don't want scratches, stop sliding metal pans across it! I had none of these issue.

This 36"Electric Cook top was so easy to install I couldn't believe it. Then we started using it and right away my wife was pleased with how quickly the elements heat up and the cooking time has been cut in half. The surface is so easy to clean and it just looks great in my kitchen. It also looks good with our Frigidaire double oven.

We had a Frigidaire 36" downdraft we had purchased in 1998-replacing another downdraft from the 1970's. Downdraft was to costly and impossible to find in stock. When purchasing a new stovetop we wanted one that had the stove knobs on the side not in the front.-This one was just right! We had it delivered and installed it ourselves. Fit right where the old 36" was . WE did have to purchase, a ductless vent a hood and remove the downdraft parts in the lower cabinet. This cooktop has 4 actual cooking burners and one warmer-such a change from the 2 burners and grill that I was used to. The reason for 4 stars it is a challenge to keep it clean. I found that mircofiber cloths and Weiman's stovetop cleaner works best. Enjoy!

I really don™™t love it. It cooks my food and I™™mThankful for that; but it™™s already scratched. I have the correct pots and pans for it, I clean it with the cleaner it came with™¦ a glass stop top sponge scratched it immediately, and a crispy hashbrown scratched it. it over all is way to delicate, I don™™t think a product should scratch that easily. It™™s one the first big purchase to my home and I™™m so disappointed in the quality for what I paid. I™™m not going to return it because it™™s already in my home.. it works. That™™s about it. And it™™s pretty. Those are the only good things about it.

After only a month I am pleased with my new Fridgedaire electric cooktop. I chose it because of the design of the burners with two large ones in front and the controls to the side. It also was a good fit for my existing cutout. It was easy to install and works well.

We recently replaced our 36™ Kenmore Elite with the 36™ Frigidaire cooktop. We liked the side knob feature and went with the unit. The original countertop opening for our Kenmore Elite was a perfect match with the Frigidaire. We had concerns about the reviews regarding cooktop finish and decided to roll the dice. So far we are pleased with the purchase and haven™™t had any issues or learning curve to operate the new unit. All in all the unit was purchased at a great price and appears to be a great value. I wish the knobs had a better finish which would improve the overall look but extremely satisfied with the purchase.

I love my new cooktop. It's beautiful! It does show fingerprints-- as glass always does-- so you must be diligent in cleaning up spills pronto. I love having the buttons on the far right; it means no accidental turn ons. The insta-boil eye is great! The warmer eye is a nice addition. No complaints. Glad that I purchased it!

The range is now installed. Working fine.My problem is that the unit was on sale and showed over 1000 in stock. That was in March. The unit came to the store months later and apon inspection it was broken. Reorder. Second unit delivered in one piece during September. Just remember that their unit probably won't be delivered in a 'timely ' manner. That was my experience.

I am pleased with the look, I like the nobs on the side. It heats up very fast, so it is turned off sooner, the cleaner helps with spills that are hard to just wipe off. I also like the warmer burner and the large dual heating element on the right for different sized pots or pans.

This is a very nice cooktop. The quick boil element works great as well as does the keep warm zone. The control knobs on side are very nice and easy to use. The cooktop is easy to clean.

Replaced an old electric coil type cooktop with this ceramic radiant by Frigidaire. Taking some getting used to but finding it a good fit for our somewhat small kitchen area. It certainly looks much better than the original and as far as performance it is easy to operate but I do recommend cleaning it regularly as I can see where stains, scratches and surface marks just in regular use.

Overall a nice cooktop. Really like having physical knobs, and having them out of the way on the right. Installation was pretty simple. Heats quickly.On the downside, the quickboil burner(s) are exquisitely sensitive and will boil water if knob is set much higher than 2 out of 10 on either, or both, of the elements. Which means this fifth burner is not super convenient to cook with. I suspect the knob is actually defective somehow, but Frigidaire support says it is not.Also, I did not realize that one of the small burners is only to melt butter or keep things warm.So while this is five burner cooktop, it's functionality is more like a 3.5 or 4 burner cooktop.It does tend to show fingerprints and spills quite a bit, but the sample polish they sent works well, and I bought a proper cleaning set from Amazon that includes a razor scraper and a brush that is safe to use on ceramic tops.If I had to do it over, I'd probably have done more research and picked something different, but I am learning to work around the limitations of this one pretty well.

I had to replace my cooktop after a large jar candle fell off the bar and chipped and cracked my existing cooktop. I wanted one with dials on the side which this one had. It™™s been a couple months and I still love this one! I would recommend this if you™™re in the market for a cooktop.

We ordered this cook top to replace an old one with a bad burner and chipped glass . We wanted one that would fit in the same cutout in our granite counter top and also liked the control knobs on the side. It did fit in the same space and the install instructions were easy to follow and had good diagrams for different wiring scenarios including ours. We ordered this cook top from an online store. The first two orders were returned to the sender by UPS due to damage in shipping. I contacted the vendor and they advised us to order it again so we did and it arrived this time with no visible damage. I installed it and tested all the burners before closing the junction box and fastening it down. The burners all came on so I thought it was good but later we discovered the left front burner would only come on for about 25-30 seconds, then go off for 2-3 minutes and come on again briefly, etc. It was not enough to boil water or cook. I contacted Frigidaire and they were quick at setting up a warranted service call. The tech came over to see the problem and then ordered a part - a switch. That was two weeks ago. I called today and the part is back ordered with no idea when it will come in. For the time being we can cook on the other burners and they are working fine. It does look nice and we like the control knobs on the side. We initially cleaned the top with the cleaner they provided to "prime" it but the top seems to clean up fine with a little detergent and a soft sponge and soft cotton towel afterward. Two install notes: The electrical cord is 35-36 inched and just made it to our junction box, which is on the floor. They advised using a heat resistant silicone to glue the supporting brackets with a granite countertop. I was prepared to do that and wait 24 hours but it turned our in our case the brackets could be turned around and screwed into the side walls of the shelves underneath. That seemed to provide better support and there was no wait time.
